Who we are
At Buneko, our journey began with a vision to blend the best of sustainable fashion and traditional craftsmanship while giving back to communities in need. Guided by our belief that fashion can be both beautiful and responsible, we repurpose unique clothing from factory surplus, minimizing waste and embracing sustainability. Simultaneously, we partner with indigenous artisans to showcase their timeless crafts, ensuring that heritage and skill are preserved. Each purchase supports these artisans with fair wages, contributing to a system that honors both people and the planet.
Vision
In a world increasingly dominated by mass production, traditional craftsmanship faces the risk of fading into obscurity. We saw an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of these age-old practices, to celebrate the beauty of handmade creations, and to spark meaningful change in how the world values artisanal work.
Woven With Love
Our traditional arts and crafts collection is a tribute to the cultural heritage of Nepal’s indigenous communities. Each item, from intricately woven textiles to beautifully carved wood artifacts, embodies generations of skill, passion, and dedication. By supporting these artisans, we not only preserve their traditional craftsmanship but also provide them with fair wages and a sustainable livelihood. Every piece in this collection carries a story and a connection to a rich cultural tapestry, allowing you to own a piece of heritage that supports both community empowerment and cultural preservation.
As Seen On
Our sustainable clothing and handicrafts have been proudly featured in commercials and collaborations with like-minded partners. Join us in promoting ethical fashion for a better world!
Wear Again, Live Again
At Buneko, our journey began with surplus garments. After more than five years, our mission has grown into weaving a more sustainable lifestyle that also incorporates supporting various local artisans. As we move forward, our initial framework of surplus clothing has been reimagined as “Feri”, meaning “again” in Nepali.
At Feri, we believe in second chances. By upcycling and sustainable innovation, we create stylish, high-quality garments from surplus materials, reducing waste while giving fabrics a new lease on life. By focusing creativity, Feri turns the idea of used and unused resources into opportunities to craft something beautiful and meaningful.
